The Old Brewhouse Hotel - Arbroath

The room was fabulous and immaculate with its twon beds, I stayed here for 1 night.

It offers super, stunning location.

Liked the place, had a perfectly pleasant stay on our road trip up the east of Scotland. We booked comfortably furnished and well-appointed room with very comfy bed and could use wake-up service, available in it.

fantastic views and central access to arbroath's charm

I enjoyed a wonderful meal at a nearby cafe, just a few steps away from the harbor, which gave me the chance to soak in the coastal views as I strolled around the vibrant area filled with private boats and charming shops.

great food but small bathroom

The menu had a wonderful variety and exceeded my expectations during my five-night stay. The staff were attentive and friendly.

The bathroom felt a bit cramped compared to the modern amenities in the rest of the room.

The stay was quite delightful, especially the stunning sea view from our room. The room itself was spacious, and the cleanliness was top-notch. We also appreciated the efficient service, and the food was delicious and reasonably priced. A special mention for the breakfast, which was hearty and filling!

Had a lovely stay in a comfortable room with an amazing shower and a little fridge for drinks. I enjoyed relaxing by the beach while my partner tried the local cuisine, which was great! Just a heads up, the breakfast is now a cold packed option, but everything else was spot on! 😊

We enjoyed the fine views and loved watching fishing boats return with their catch. The staff really were really nice for us, and the food was great. A highlight was definitely the breakfast, so hearty and tasty!

We did have to dash outside for our rooms in the rain, a bit uncomfortable, but it didn't ruin our stay.

The view from the Beautiful Double Room with Sea View was fantastic, and the room itself was fresh and clean. Breakfast selection was extensive with high-quality options, including delicious homemade cakes. The breakfast basket in the room lacked personalization and labeling for items like milk and croissants, which could pose issues for those with allergies. The floors were quite squeaky, which might be bothersome for some guests.

I appreciated the breakfast basket that was delivered the night before, as it allowed me to start my workday without delay. Having a small fridge in the room was also a convenient touch for storing refreshments .

Parking was difficult to find nearby.

Comfortable room, modern bathroom, with a fantastic shower and excellent amenities including a tv and electric kettle, all set in a great location perfect for hiking and exploring the nearby attractions.

Perfect experience.

I enjoyed two nights at the Old Brewhouse. The rooms felt spacious and clean. Great tea and coffee facilities made mornings enjoyable. The beds were comfortable. I loved that the restaurant served fresh, local seafood. Tried the fish and chips, and they were excellent, crispy, and cooked perfectly. Breakfast was substantial, fueling our day ahead. I faced some inconveniences. The only window in my room was near a staff smoking area, frequent disturbances from opening and closing doors. Parking was tricky, as I had to park a few streets away. The entry to the rooms was through outdoor stairs, challenging in the rain, especially with my baby in tow. Despite these issues, I would stay again, but would remember these details for a smoother experience.

What I loved most was the breathtaking sea view! 🌊 The room was cozy and immaculate, making it a perfect retreat. Only downside was having to dash outside in the rain for the entrance.
